Who are we?

Hibba Israel InTouch, in addition to being an official trip provider of  the Taglit-Birthright Israel gift, is a Jerusalem-based nonprofit organization established in 1982, devoted to strengthening connections within Israeli society and throughout the Jewish world. Our staff is experienced, knowledgeable and involved in various educational projects in Israel and abroad.  Hibba  is a unique and exceptional program that combines adventures, spirituality and culture of Israel and the Jewish people.  Our trip is about more than taking a tour, but rather a 10-day packed trip where you can gain a deep understanding of the beauty of Israel and a rich appreciation of our energetic and long-lasting Jewish Homeland.  In addition, our participants leave the ten day program with new friends, both American and Israeli, all of whom attend and enrich the Hibba experience. No matter where you come from, or what your Jewish background is, Hibba creates an experience that will make you feel at home.  Each Hibba trip is led by extraordinary Israeli tour guides, whose passion and knowledge of Israel's history, culture and spirituality, truly enhances the Hibba Israel InTouch experience and makes our groups one of a kind in the Taglit-Birthright Israel family.

Our Vision

Hibba provides a learning experience with all the "fun in the sun" you could wish for. Our trips are open to all affiliations and backgrounds of Judaism, with the goal of creating a diverse group of people - experiencing Israel together, discovering in it their shared connection to the nation, the land, the long Jewish history and the current beat of Israeli culture. Together we travel from coast to coast, hike in the Golan, kayak in the Jordan River, float in the Dead Sea, ride camels through the desert. Together we experience the spirituality of Jerusalem and Shabbat, the adventure of Eilat and Tel Aviv, visiting along the way all the central sites that have become stepping-stones in the birth of a nation and a state.

We at Hibba pride ourselves on the personal, one-on-one connections we develop with each and every participant.  The close intimacy that develops throughout the trips lasts far beyond the 10 days in Israel; the memories and friends last a lifetime.
