TOUCH BY FOOT... TOUCH BY HAND... TOUCH BY SPIRIT...
Extending your Trip
Please note that Taglit Birthright Israel and Hibba Israel in Touch are not involved in your extension and are not in any way responsible for changes in your return flight. When selecting your travel dates, please be mindful of the days of the week, as some airlines fly out of Israel on Friday nights and Saturdays.
Extending your Flight Ticket prior to leaving the USA
All extensions prior to departure from the US are made through Gil Travel. We highly recommend that extensions be made prior to your departure from the United States as seats, especially during the summer time, are extremely limited and subject to availability. Gil Travel requires at least 15 business days prior to your departure date from the US to have the request form received by them. Ongoing travel plans should not be confirmed until you have written confirmation of a return flight and date from Gil travel. To view all airline ticket extension conditions, please CLICK HERE. PLEASE NOTE: All ticket extensions made prior to departure must be made through Gil Travel.

Extending your Flight Ticket in Israel
When you are in Israel, if you plan to stay longer than the original or extended date, you must call the airline to cancel your return and book a new return date prior to the date you already have confirmed. Airline Conditions regarding extending your ticket are listed under Flight Ticket Extensions (once in Israel). All changes to your return are subject to availability with the airline. If you do not contact the airline prior to the confirmed return date to arrange another flight home, then you risk having your return ticket cancelled being "NULL and VOIDED" and may have to purchase a one way ticket to return home at your expense.

Important Info
- If you do not intend to fly on the original or new extended return date you must advise the airline. Failure to do so will result in your return ticket becoming “NULL and VOID” and you will be responsible for buying a one-way ticket back home.
- Ticket Extensions are not refundable.
- If you cancel your trip and have made an extension, you will forfeit the money for the ticket extension.
